SOLAR CONTROL

STAYCOOL glass uses the latest innovative technology to reflect 78% of solar heat from a glass roof and will block 57% of solar heat from the windows and doors in your conservatory. For a glass roof conservatory this superior glazing combination has been proven to reduce conservatory temperatures on hot summer days by 20o F when compared to Pilkington K glass.

ENERGY EFFICIENT 1.0 U-value

STAYCOOL conservatory roof glass not only helps keep your conservatory cooler in the summer but with an enery efficient 1.0 U-value sealed unit it also the best performing thermally insulated double glazed unit currently available offering up to 63% less heat loss when compared to ordinary double glazing. The use of a ‘warm edge' spacer bar to create the air gap virtually eliminates condensation on the glass.

REDUCED GLARE

STAYCOOL Glass also provides a significant reduction in solar glare. The roof glass has a subtle green tint and reduces glare by 68% whilst the side frames offer a neutral appearance and a reduction in solar glare of 35%.

For all conservatories supplied with STAYCOOL: self cleaning glass is supplied to the roof only. The windows and door(side frames)are not supplied with a self clean coating as standard.
