Watch the ultraframe video
This 7 minute video illustrates the features and benefits of installing an Ultraframe conservatory roof. It includes footage of severe wind testing carried out at an independent testing facility. Watch an Ultraframe roof withstand storm force winds in excess of 130mph whilst others were literally 'blown away'.
Structural stability
A conservatory roof is a complicated engineering structure that must be capable of withstanding the harshest elements that the British weather can throw at it. If you have watched the Ultraframe Test Report video above you can see that our conservatory roof system will stand up to winds in excess of 130 miles an hour. In fact prior to manufacture all our roofs are structurally checked to ensure they meet stringent wind and snow loadings based on the height above sea level at the installation address.
Tie bars
As part of the structural stability testing tie bars may be deemed necessary for your roof style and if so, will be supplied and must be fitted to ensure that there is no possibility of the eaves beams spreading due to the
downward force of snow loading on the roof. Ultraframe also offer a tie bar replacement kit which can eliminate the need for traditional tie bars on some styles of conservatory - please ask for details.
The reassurance of a quality brand
All our self assembly conservatories feature Ultraframe Conservatory roofs because they are engineered for the extremes of the UK climate and are approved by the British Board of Agrement(BBA)to last at least 25 years. Ultraframe roofs are the only system to have passed the USA's BOCA system, the toughest testing regime in the world.

Certificate of authenticity
Your new self build uPVC conservatory will be supplied with a certificate that can be passed onto future owners of the property to confirm that the conservatory does feature a genuine Ultraframe conservatory roof.
Benefits of an Ultraframe Classic Conservatory Roof
Here are just three of the standard features provided with our self fit conservatories using the Ultraframe Classic roof system:

Free Ultraselect eaves trimNow you can personalise your conservatory with the addition of an Ultraselect decorative eaves trim. Choose from many different options to make your new conservatory your own and you can even change the trim later for a fresh design. Currently not available if Classic Plus upgrade is selected. |

Free Eavesflow ventilationUltraframe conservatory roofs feature patented eaves trickle ventilation as standard with ridge ventilation as an option. For additional ventilation to the roof space of your conservatory consider specifying manual, electric or rain sensor roof vents. This valuable additional ventilation is especially recommended if your conservatory is south facing where long hours of constant sunlight in the summer months will lead to heat build up in the roof space. |

Classic Plus Option
Upgrade to Classic Plus for a fully intergrated roof blind system
The new Ultraframe Classic Plus conservatory roof upgrade not only adds a new range of deeper internal claddings providing a whole new dimension to the aesthetics but also provides Eavesflow trickle ventilation to every facet of the roof giving the ultimate in climate control.

The elegant deeper claddings replicate the lines of timber conservatories and the chambered deeper ridge undercladding helps with thermal performance whilst also providing the opportunity to hide wiring and transformers for spotlight installations.

Ultraframe Cornice Option
Add a touch of elegance to your Ultraframe conservatory with an upgrade to Cornice.

Cornice is designed to upgrade the standard Classic conservatory roof with a bespoke powder coated aluminium shroud that encases the standard Marley Classic guttering system and completely covers the roof glazing bar ends to provide a smooth elegant eaves detail. It can be fitted to the standard or super duty eaves beam and can even be retro fitted to existing Ultraframe Classic conservatory roofs.
Cornice is supplied made to measure and with full installation instructions.

Super Duty Eaves Beam Option

The Super Duty Eaves provides additional structural support for the roof on most conservatories where bifolding doors are specified. These wider openings were previously only possible using steel portal frames but depending on the style of conservatory and the width of the bifolding door an upgrade to the Super Duty Eaves Beam will ensure adequate support for the roof above the door aperture.
As you can see here the SD eaves beam is 38mm taller and 25mm wider than the standard eaves beam but uses the same cladding and cappings. The upgrade will be required on all elevations of the conservatory and not just where the bifold door is specified.
Made to order and ready to fit

Your conservatory roof will arrive in kit form with all components cut and drilled ready to assemble. The roof packs are clearly labelled and all major parts are labelled and identified from the roof plan to ensure they are fitted in their correct locations.
Comprehensive installation guide and roof plan provided

A comprehensive step-by-step installation guide is also provided with the roof but if you would like to study the installation process prior to ordering your conservatory you can download a copy of the current Ultraframe Classic Conservatory Roof Installation from our downloads page.
