Replacement Conservatory

Refurbish your existing conservatory

Many exisiting conservatories were installed ten or twenty years ago when product specifications were not designed to be energy efficient and climate control never considered to be important.

Most of these structures now look tired, dated and are often shut off from the main home as they are too expensive to heat in the winter and become a sauna in summer. With a thin polycarbonate roof they are often a dark place to sit with limited natural light whilst the lack of any heat retaining glass to the windows and door allows any generated heat to escape through the glass to the outside.

Replace your tired conservatory with a brand new one.

Replacement ConservatoryReplacement ConservatoryWe can design a cost-effective replacement conservatory that will use the existing base and create a thermally efficient extra room that will extend your permanent living space all year round.

Your new conservatory will include thermally efficient upvc profiles combined with 1.1 U-value solar control double glazing for the windows and doors to help block solar gain in the summer but retain your valuable heat in the winter. The roof will be upgraded to 1.0 U-value self cleaning Staycool solar control double glazing that not only reflects 78% of direct solar heat but also blocks 90% of damaging UV rays so your furnishings are protected too.

As your replacement conservatory will use the existing base and brickwork there should be no planning permission issues so demolition of the old structure and installation of the new one can be undertaken with the minimum delay.

Add new design features

There are many ways to improve the design and appearance of the existing structure to add the WOW factor to your replacement conservatory including:

cornice

Aluminium Cornice

Adding the Cornice upgrade will hide the ends of the roof glazing bars and enclose the standard upvc gutter system in a sleek powder coated aluminium shroud creating a much more substantial design element which is shown here in light oak and with the addition of brick piers creates a unique cross-over home extension.

This conservatory has a four panel upvc patio door to the front providing full height glazing for an unspoilt view of the garden.

livin room orangery

Livin Room Perimeter Ceiling

The Livin Room upgrade provides a perimeter ceiling to the roof structure which not only creates an ideal position for down lighters but also gives an orangery type feel to the interior making it more like a permanent home extension. If your existing conservatory has an Ultraframe Classic glass roof it should be possible to retro-fit the Livin room perimeter ceiling to the existing roof structure.

bifold door

Bifold Doors

Add a bifold door to your replacement conservatory to open up your living space and seamlessly merge your home with your garden bringing the outside inside.

The new roof will include a structually reinforced eaves beam to support the roof above the bifold door to eliminate the risk of deflection when the door is fully opened.

Conservatories are now available in an extended wood grain colour range that includes chartwell light green shown. Other colour such as black, cream, grey, Irish oak and fir green are also available.

Glass Roof

Choosing a glass roof for your replacement conservatory will allow natural light to flood in to your new room whilst maximising the thermal efficiency of the structure. Not only will a glass roof improve sound insulation but the latest solar control glazing is self cleaning and provides protection against solar gain and UV rays.
