Derek and Sue Redgwell had originally intended to buy their self build
conservatory from one of the big DIY stores but the standard sizes and minimal
specification available did not suit their requirements so we designed a bespoke
conservatory solution for them.
They chose an Instabuild steel base for a faster installation and the cad drawing
below was approved by them prior to manufacture and delivery. The
conservatory faces north and was supplied with an Ultraframe roof glazed with
35mm opal polycarbonate and our exceptional 1.2 U value Triple Shield argon
filled sealed units provide the glazing to the full height windows and French door
to ensure that their underfloor heating maintains a comfortable climate during the
colder months of the year.
The following images have been provided by the customer and follow each stage
of the conservatory installation from start to finish.
The conservatory location
Patio slabs removed and 450mm cube concrete pads constructed to the plan.

The conservatory roof is fitted.
Conservatory roof installed and ready for glazing. Note that the door leaves have been removed to avoid any possibility of damage during construction.
