Traditional Lean ToTraditional Lean To Conservatories

The traditional Lean to conservatory or Mediteranean sunroom is a popular choice for modern homes due to it's clean lines and square design that maximises floor area.  Our standard design features glazed raked side frames that allow maximum light and headroom with a typical roof pitch of 10 degrees.  However, a 2.5 degree low pitch roof with upvc side firrings instead of glass can also be supplied where height restrictions exist such as where the conservatory is joining a bungalow underneath a soffit.

EdwardianEdwardian Conservatories

The Edwardian or Georgian conservatory is without doubt the most popular style of conservatory as it combines traditional conservatory design with making the most use of available floor space.  The original Georgian design dates back to the 18th century and the roof tends to be 25 degrees or higher to create a vaulted effect which helps allow maximum light into the conservatory. Double hipped versions incorporating box gutters are used where height restrictions apply.

VictorianVictorian Conservatories

Particularly suitable for older properties the traditional Victorian combines elegance with styling that dates back hundreds of years.  The original Victorian was the original conservatory style and although the components have improved considerably over time the aesthetics remain virtually unchanged from the original.  Traditional Victorian conservatories can be supplied with 3 or 5 facets to the front with the latter creating a rounder appearance and offering the maximum useable floor area.

Gable EndGable End Conservatories

The Gable End or Pavillion conservatory provides a higher roof feel combined with maximising floor space and is a variation of the Edwardian style replacing the sloped front to the roof with a flat gable end.  Often installed onto the gable wall of a property the pitch of the roof can usually be increased up to a pitch of 40 degrees or more to mirror the main property's roof pitch.  There are many design options for the front gable frame including the mullion style shown here.

P Shape EdwardianP Shape Conservatories

A P Shape Edwardian conservatory combines a classic Edwardian or Victorian style with a Lean to return to create additional living space offering the possibility of two seperate areas which could be used as a dining room and garden room.  P shape conservatories are usually more suitable for detached properties because of the requirement to extend in two different directions.
