Timberlook

Timberlook logoTimberlook PVCu profile has an ovalo feature which replicates a traditional timber design. A matching ovalo glazing bead for the fixed glazing units creates a uniform sight line and the appearance is further enhanced by the use of a slimline sculptured glazing bead with 'low-line' gaskets in the opening window and door sashes.

The Timberlook windows and doors used in the manufacture of your new self build PVCu conservatory are available in your choice of white PVCu finish or with a Rosewood or Light Oak woodgrain foil to the outside, or to both outside and inside. Timberlook windows and doors have internal beading for extra security are are manufactured to British Standard Kitemarks BS 7412 and BS 7950/7412.

As all our PREMIER DIY conservatories are made specifically to order we endeavour to restrict the number of frame connectors on each wall to the minimum to ensure that your new conservatory retains traditional conservatory sightlines with continuous transomes and mullions. Where frame connectors are used to link windows together on larger conservatories where a join is neccessary along the elevation of the conservatory or where a window joins a door we generally use a 3mm uPVC frame connector.

The images below are provided to illustrate the locking system for our windows and doors. There are also images of typical frame divisions and 3mm wide non-structural couplers where frames are joined together.  Reinforced couplers are sometimes used in load bearing situations which are 8mm wide.
