New Service
If you are having difficulty finding a builder to construct a traditional base we can put you in touch with a national network of professional base builders who you can contact direct for an estimate on the cost of construction of your base and who will also provide a cost for optional installation of the conservatory also. Simply let us know and we will provide you with contact details. Please note that your contract for base construction and/or installation is independent and does not form part of your conservatory purchase with us.
Always agree the price at the start and exactly what the price includes. You should ask the builder to assist you with the initial survey as often, any issues that may arise will be discussed at this stage, rather than during construction. Cost guide for a 3m x 3m base will be in the region of £1,600 - £2,000.
As an alternative to traditional base construction you may want to consider a pre-fabricated steel base. These have the advantage of avoiding the disruption and labour involved in building a traditional base, and even allow you to take the conservatory with you when you move!
Whichever route you decide to go, it is essential that your conservatory base is constructed accurately to the dimensions on the base plans we will send you.
